Bob Trotta

I'm trying to avoid life kicking me in the teeth. Worse things happen at sea, you know!

Another Robert post

It has been a while since I posted. I had almost forgotton the password for the Bob Trotta blog. However, it is time to get back to writing about me.

I have found some interesting stuff on the internet.

By the way, if this blog appears to be utter nonsense that is because it is. For more information about all things Trotta try going to this website. I think you will find it equally uninteresting.

Jolly Days

As it is coming towards summer Bob thinks it is a good idea to go on holiday. I will be going with two people I don't know and two I do to the sunny island of Kos in Greece. I will let you know how drunk I get in a week or so. (I might even try and find an internet cafe and write 'en situ').

Until then - malaka.

Third Party

I am wondering whether to play with the humerous device of referring to myself in the third person. I noticed the character Bob on the US sitcom Becker (with Ted Danson) does this to a great extent with some success. Bob Trotta thinks this is a good idea.

Slacker

Yep, that's what I am. I've not done this blogging stuff for ages. I always remember the time I tried to keep a diary but gave up after 2 days when I realised:

(a) Nothing interesting really happens to me
(b) I am lazy and cannot be bother too much

Anyway, here's a quick update on my life and world in general:

The pope is dead, we have a new pope
Norwich are suddenly having a real go at surviving relegation - half a season too bloody late
The washing up is now about 3 meters high and covers about 7 square meters
I haven't been 'intimate' with a lady for going on 8 months now - My porn mags are like rags now
I have begun calculating my journey to work is, on average, taking an extra 2 1/2 minutes longer every week. I have calculated that by 2035 I will spend my entire day travelling to and from work.

Goooooooooodddddddddddddddd................................

Work Dammit.

Good Grief! I just tried to post a blog and it failed. How anonying. It was really interesting and perceptive. It might even have engendered world peace. I can't remember what it was but it was brilliant. I am going to copy this text now to make sure I don't lose it.

Bastard failed again. Lucky I saved it first!!

Must keep writing blogggggg

Good grief. Life really doesn't change. I don't know what's sadder: the fact I haven't written anything here for a week or so; or that I have nothing to write about after a week.

It seems...

...like only about ten minutes since my last post but it's over a week! These blogs apparently take control of things like a big monster that always needs feeding. Where will it stop?

Quick Life Update:

  • Job still shite.
  • Washing-up now about half a metre high.
  • Pretty Indian girl still getting married to a chemist.
  • Tube journey still smelly and rubbish.
  • Now very good at XBox game: Pro Evolution Soccer.
